ATLANTA, Oct. 23, 2017 -- What keeps leaders in healthcare IT awake at night? It’s issues like workforce, cybersecurity, the move to value-based care and consumerism – and those are the topics that will be covered at the 8th annual Health IT Leadership Summit on November 7, 2017.
The 2017 Summit theme is: “What’s Next in Healthcare? Initiating Collaboration and Innovation in Our Communities.” The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza at Ravinia.
“Since we founded the Health IT Leadership Summit in 2010, recognition of Georgia’s role in developing robust approaches to health IT innovation has grown remarkably,” said David Hartnett, Chief Economic Office of the Metro Atlanta Chamber. “This year’s Summit will bring together industry leaders who are truly making a difference in the quality of care being delivered today and in the future.”
Shahid Shah, publisher of Netspective Media, will open the conference with a presentation on “How the Rise of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Will Impact the Role of Clinicians.” Chesley Richards, MD, MPH, FACP, Deputy Director for Public Health Scientific Services at CDC, as well as the Director of the Office of Public Health Scientific Services, will provide the closing keynote.
