SAN FRANCISCO, March 02, 2018 -- HVR, provider of real-time data integration technology, today announced that GE Digital has selected HVR as its real-time data integration solution for its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solution. The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement allows users of GE Digital’s MES solution to more efficiently leverage real-time data in the cloud to make more intelligent business decisions, faster.
Industrial IoT — the merging of digital technologies and physical assets — is the next frontier for manufacturing companies. The MES solution enables traditional factories to evolve into digitally enabled intelligent manufacturing plants by providing the infrastructure necessary to support faster production, vary product output at a moment’s notice, lower power consumption, and eliminate waste, while improving throughput and efficiency. HVR helps MES customers to:
● More easily extract their data from on-premise environments and migrate it to, and leverage the analytical capabilities of the cloud; and,
● Access and react to that data in real-time in order to manage costs and decision-making processes, unlocking greater efficiencies at scale.
The collaboration will deliver real-time information upstream and downstream, regardless of data systems, to MES customers around the world. With HVR enabling the continuous data integration and migration processes, MES customers can run real-time analytics in the cloud in order to drive cost efficiencies, enable better decision making, and deliver more consistent operations.
“HVR’s agreement with GE Digital truly unlocks the transformative power of today’s modern data environments on a large scale. This agreement signifies their dedication to enabling customers to be more efficient in their industries with access to real-time information in the cloud,” said Anthony Brooks-Williams, CEO of HVR.
