Quite a handful of economic dockets scheduled for today and some with high risks associated.

Data released so far

  • Australia – Home loans rose 1.7%, while investment lending for homes declined 5% in April.
  • China – Exports declined -4.1% and imports declined -0.4% y/y. Trade balance came at $49.9 billion.

Upcoming             

  • Japan – Eco watchers survey will be announced at 5:00 GMT.
  • Switzerland – CPI for May will be announced at 7:00 GMT. Prior -0.4% y/y.
  • United Kingdom – Manufacturing and Industrial production for April will be released at 8:30 GMT. NIESR GDP estimate will be published at 14:00 GMT. RICS house price balance will be released at 23:00 GMT.
  • United States -  MBA mortgage applications will be announced at 11:00 GMT. JOLTS job openings will be announced at 14:00 GMT. EIA will release crude oil inventory report at 12:30 GMT.
  • New Zealand – RBNZ will announce monetary policy at 21:00 GMT.
  • Japan – Machinery orders will be published at 23:50 GMT.
