Lot of economic dockets scheduled for today. Some of them with high risks associated.

Data released so far -

  • Australia - House prices rose by 2% on quarterly basis, up 10.7% from a year ago. New motor vehicle sales up 1%in November, up 6% from a year ago. RBA released minutes of meeting.

 Upcoming -  

  • Spain - Consumer price index for November to be released at 8:00 GMT.
  • Switzerland - Producer and import prices to be released at 8:15 GMT.
  • UK - Inflation data as PPI, RPI, CPI and HPI to be released at 9:30 GMT. BOE will release quarterly bulletin at 12:00 GMT. CB leading economic index to be released at 14:30 GMT.
  • Germany - Zew survey economic sentiment and current situation to be released at 10:00 GMT.
  • Euro Zone - Zew survey for economic sentiment to be released at 10:00 GMT, along with employment change for third quarter.
  • India - India might release fiscal and trade deficit data today.
  • US - New York Empire state manufacturing for December to be released at 13:30 GMT, along with consumer price index for November and followed by Redbook index at 13:55 GMT. NAHB housing market report to be released at 15:00 GMT.
  • Canada - Manufacturing shipments for September to be released at 13:30 GMT. BOC will release its review at 16:00 GMT, followed by Governor Poloz speech at 16:45 GMT.
  • New Zealand - Global dairy auctions scheduled for today. Current account for third quarter to be released at 21:45 GMT.
  • Australia - Conference board and Westpac leading index to be released at 23:30 GMT.
