NEW YORK, Jan. 09, 2017 -- Guggenheim Partners, the global investment and advisory firm, announced today that Prashant Raj, Senior Managing Director, has been named Head of Guggenheim Commercial Real Estate Finance (GCREF).
Since joining Guggenheim in 2009 as Head of Commercial Real Estate Capital Markets and Special Situations, Mr. Raj has led the execution of a number of significant transactions. Prior to joining Guggenheim, Mr. Raj worked at Credit Suisse and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
In addition, George Duncan III and Paul Stern have been appointed Co-Heads of U.S. Origination. Mr. Duncan is based in Los Angeles, and Mr. Stern is based in New York. They will both report to Mr. Raj who is based in Guggenheim’s New York office.
GCREF is a full-service commercial real estate lending platform that sources, underwrites, closes, and services commercial real estate mortgages for its clients’ portfolios. Over the past five years GCREF has originated over $11 billion in commercial mortgages and has a servicing portfolio of over $7 billion.
