(“Gran Tierra”) (NYSE American:GTE) (NYSE MKT:GTE) (TSX:GTE), today announced that its indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary, Gran Tierra Energy International Holdings Ltd. (“GTEIH”), has completed its previously announced offering of $300 million aggregate principal amount of 6.25% Senior Notes due 2025 (the “Notes”) in a private placement to qualified institutional buyers in the United States pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”), to non-U.S. persons in transactions outside the United States pursuant to Regulation S under the Securities Act and pursuant to certain prospectus exemptions in Canada.
