“Goblin Slayer Episode 3” is almost here and it promises to be another excellent addition to a breakout anime with a mature story. For this episode, the Goblin Slayer is going to be meeting new faces in the form of a high elf, a dwarf, and a lizardman. What will these mysterious strangers ask of the famous silver-ranked specialist? Of course, it’s about hunting goblins.
As one of the most promising new anime entries in the industry, “Goblin Slayer” has already generated a lot of attention from fans who absolutely love its mature approach to telling a compelling story. In “Goblin Slayer” Episode 3, the main protagonist will be meeting with strangers who have a mission for him, The Anime Scrolls reports.
Titled “Unexpected Visitors,” “Goblin Slayer” Episode 3 will see three travelers pestering folks for information about someone known as “Orcbolg.” This name applies to the main character, himself, though it would seem that even he isn’t even aware of this. This preview clip of the upcoming episode should provide fans with a good idea of what to expect.
The travelers need him to slay some goblins that are throwing a wrench in political machinations, which Goblin Slayer is not interested in, at all. Once he hears that there is a quest about slaying goblins, he is out the door. “Goblin Slayer” Episode 3 should showcase even more of this all-business side of the man, the reasons of which were already explained in the previous episode.
As OtakuKart notes, this anime is also a lot like Berserk in terms of its themes, which leans towards the bloody and gory. Unlike with other anime that feature fantasy-like settings, “Goblin Slayer” Episode 3 will showcase the uglier side of being an adventurer. When it airs on Oct. 20, fans will get another look into exactly what this means.
