Not many economic data and events scheduled for today, and all with low to medium volatility risks associated.

Data released so far:

  • Australia: House price index down 0.7 percent in the first quarter, up 2 percent from a year ago.
     
  • Switzerland: SECO economic forecasts were released at 5:45 GMT.
     
  • Eurozone: April current account balance came at €28.4 billion. Construction output up 1.8 percent y/y.

Upcoming:

  • United States: Fed’s Bullard is set for a speech at 11:00 GMT. Housing starts and building permits report will be released at 12:30 GMT.
     
  • New Zealand: Global dairy auction is scheduled for today. Q1 current account balance will be released at 22:45 GMT.
     
  • Auction: Spain will auction 3-month and 9-month bonds today. U.S. will auction 1-month and 12-month bills at 15:30 GMT.
