Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 1.30 pct higher at 6,094.22 points.
Shanghai composite index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,037.45 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.3 pct at 3,763.04 points.
Hong Kong’s hang seng was trading 0.20 percent lower at 30,380.02 points.
Taiwanese stocks was trading around 0.15 percent higher at 11,030.93 points.
India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.08 percent higher at 10,816.80 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.06 points higher at 35,621.88 points.
South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.51 percent lower at 2,411.55 points.
