“As of February 2018, Bags 4 My Cause has raised over $650,000 to support over 4,000 local nonprofit causes across the U.S.,” said Chris Sherrell, CEO of Fresh Thyme Farmers Market. “We’re honored to work with an organization that shares our mission to be a good neighbor in the communities we serve –giving back is a large part of that commitment. By buying reusable bags, shoppers are able to protect the environment and give to a cause that matters to them.”
Shoppers who purchase the $2.99 Fresh Thyme reusable bag featuring the Giving Tag will have the option to direct $1.00 to a local nonprofit of their choice by logging-on to the Fresh Thyme Giving Bag Program website.
If a shopper does not choose a local nonprofit within seven days of purchase, the donation will automatically go to the local nonprofit designated by the location’s regional manager and store leadership team.
