BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., March 16, 2017 -- Internationally-renowned Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão has unveiled the completed renovation of its iconic Beverly Hills restaurant located just north of Wilshire Boulevard at 133 N. La Cienega Blvd.
The renovated restaurant’s design is contemporary with warm and traditional touches that pay homage to Fogo’s Southern Brazilian roots; it offers guests a variety of updated features and fixtures in the foyer, main dining room, private dining areas, Bar Fogo area and more. Several visual barriers have been removed in the dining room to allow clear sightlines throughout, and heavy window treatments have been traded for sheer curtains to wash the space with natural light.
Other highlights of the completed renovation efforts include:
- A new, 16-foot bas-relief rendition of O Laçador, a nod to the original gaucho monument erected in 1958 in Porto Alegre, Brazil, the home of the original Fogo de Chão;
- Expansion of Bar Fogo to include an imported, white Carrara marble bar;
- New Market Table made with imported, white Carrara marble;
- A new outdoor patio;
- A living greenery wall; and
- New exterior signage and an expanded entrance and restaurant foyer.
Fogo de Chão in Beverly Hills first opened its doors 12 years ago in March 2005. Since then, the restaurant has been delighting guests with Fogo’s trademark, authentic Brazilian hospitality, a variety fire-roasted meats grilled using the traditional Southern Brazilian culinary technique of churrasco (the art of roasting meats over an open flame) and variety of fresh soups, salads and other Market Table favorites, all offered as espeto corrido, or “continuous service.”
“In looking to redesign the restaurant, we wanted to create an environment in which our guests would be surrounded and delighted by both classic and contemporary features in a new, vibrant atmosphere, like natural lighting, new furniture and an expanded bar,” said Larry Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Fogo de Chão.
The menu at Fogo de Chão features a wealth of savory, fire-roasted meats perfectly seasoned, prepared and carved tableside for each guest by a team of Brazilian-trained gaucho chefs. To complement the variety of protein selections, guests can also enjoy the gourmet Market Table & Feijoada Bar, which includes a selection of seasonal salads, soups, fresh vegetables, imported cheeses, feijoada (traditional black bean stew) and other authentic Brazilian side dishes.
The renovated Beverly Hills location offers a variety of other dining options and experiences, including:
- Gaucho Lunch: Designed to accommodate the busy schedules of weekday diners and business professionals, starting at $15. Guests may also choose to add a single cut of meat to the Market Table, all for under $25.
- Brazilian Brunch: Introduced to celebrate family and friends on Saturday and Sunday for $39.95, guests can enjoy the Full Churrasco experience along with the Market Table, fresh seasonal fruits, Greek Yogurt and some special, Brazilian-inspired breakfast items like Pão de Queijo Egg Bake, Braised Beef Rib Hash and a Seasonal Sunday Roast. To complement the experience, Fogo de Chão offers a special Brunch Bar in the main dining room where guests can enjoy made-to-order Caipirinhas and classic American brunch cocktails with Brazilian twists such as their cachaça Bloody Mary and Passion Fruit Mimosa.
- Bar Fogo: Created for those craving the authentic Fogo de Chão experience in a more casual way, guests can enjoy smaller, shareable plates, a variety of craft cocktails, award-winning wines and happy hour specials located in the bar area of the restaurant.
- Seafood: Brazilian-inspired seafood options such as Shrimp Cocktail, Mango Chilean Sea Bass, and a Seafood Tower are also available a-la-carte.
- Group and Private Dining: Whether celebrating a special birthday or hosting a large corporate meeting, Fogo de Chão has become the place for group and private dining internationally. The Beverly Hills restaurant is well-suited for groups of all sizes with customizable menus, beautiful private and semi-private dining spaces, and complimentary A/V equipment.
