First cohort of B9lab's course on Ethereum Blockchain graduates

B9lab, blockchain training, advisory and research provider, has announced that the first cohort of its course for developers on the Ethereum Blockchain has graduated today.

The nine-week and in-depth training course culminated in the first ever certification. Over 100 developers registered for it, coming from six continents and 28 countries. In keeping with the course's principles, the certification will be available on the Ethereum Blockchain reinforcing the authenticity of the developers' credentials.

Participants in the course had the opportunity to learn Truffle, Web3 and Solidity, (Ethereum's programming language). In addition, they also gained a deep understanding of the foundations of blockchain technology.

Marco Polci, CTO at Digital Identity SA, said the course "…went beyond my expectations.  Not only the development of the smart contract, but all aspects related to the creation of DAPP [decentralised applications]."

B9lab developed the course in response to a growing demand for trained developers from large companies and institutions. Now on its fourth iteration, the online course is made up of videos, screencasts, exercises and graded midterm and final examinations.

“We were getting daily requests from potential clients to provide training or find developers for their blockchain projects. We quickly realised the community needed a course that would certify their talents, and that's what we're trying to achieve." saidElias Haase, Founder at B9Lab.

In addition, almost 24 hour support is given by the B9lab course team composed of experienced developers, who have been part of the blockchain community from the beginning and witnessed the technology evolve.

Another graduate Jef commented, "The support while on the course was responsive keeping me unblocked on all of my little learning stumbles. Also as the network of DAPP development tools updated through the course the staff kept up with the newest developments including adding it to the course materials."
