‘Fear The Walking Dead’ season 3 cast members recently teased the upcoming action-packed installments. Meanwhile, actor Cliff Curtis teased that his character Travis may undergo a transformation in the upcoming season for the sake of survival.
According to TV Guide, cast members teased that the upcoming season of the spin-off of ‘The Walking Dead’ is set to be quite an action-packed one. Actor Cliff Curtis said, "The pace of the show very much feels to me like it's up a notch… We're much more attuned to the apocalypse and so we're ready to take action." Curtis plays Travis Manawa on the post-apocalyptic horror television series.
Curtis added, "It's been a long and very restrained journey for Travis to finally come to terms with his own morality and to put that aside and get on with the killing." It seems that Travis will finally come to terms with the fact that being the same good person that he was before the apocalypse will only decrease his chances of surviving in a world overrun with walkers, the show’s name for zombies.
In one of the promotional photographs for season 3 posted on Fansided’s Undead Walking, Travis is seen fighting off a group of man eating zombies as he is pinned across a steel fence. In another photograph, Travis is seen carrying Luciana Galvez (Danay Garcia) as she seems to be gravely injured.
Luciana was shot at the border between the United States and Mexico. Although her life hangs in the balance, it’s interesting to see her reuniting with a member of the core group despite the circumstances.
According to BT, actress Alycia-Debnam Carey also promised more action for season 3 saying, "I think they definitely upped the pace and they upped the action… They added some great new characters as well, so it adds a whole lot of element of power dynamics and power struggles which was really cool.” She added, "This is a really exciting realm for us to explore. So it made everything a little bit more energized here."
‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 3 is expected to air on AMC on June 4, 2017. It will be composed of 16 new episodes.
