Euro area final CPI is expected by the market consensus to stand at the flash estimate of -0.2% mom in November, while on year on year basis, it is also expected to be the same as its flash estimate at 0.1%.
The core CPI yoy as expected by the consensus, is likely to confirm the flash estimate of 0.9% in November, whose weakness is due to a drop in prices paid for services and non-energy industrial goods.
"We expect euro area HICP inflation to average 0.1% in 2015 and 1.1% in 2016, while the core metric should average 0.9% in 2015 and 1.2% in 2016", says Societe Generale in a research note.
