Euro Area's Flash November HICP inflation (yoy) likely to rise on improvement in gasoline prices

Euro Area's CPI estimate yoy for the month of November is expected to be at 0.3 by market consensus, rising from that of its previous month's 0.1. The core CPI yoy is expected to be at 1.1, as per consensus.

There is a significant improvement in the energy prices, which likely caused this expected recovery in the inflation, along with the food price inflation, which is stable.

"We expect HICP inflation to continue to improve slightly from 0.1% in October to 0.2% yoy in November and  to average 0.1% in 2015 and 1.1% in 2016, while the core metric should average 0.9% in 2015 and 1.2% in 2016", estimates Societe Generale.
