SYDNEY, Australia, June 26, 2017 -- Wandera, provider of enterprise mobile security and data management, is expanding its international footprint into the Asia Pacific region.
Wandera’s APAC growth plans begin with the appointment of IT industry expert, Luke Knowles, to lead sales in the APAC region as Director of Sales APAC for Wandera.
This appointment along with the opening of Wandera’s first APAC office in Singapore will help accelerate the company’s already fast growth in the region.
Luke will join the Wandera team working closely with regional channel partners, including Australia’s major telecommunications providers, to enable the swift provision of mobile security and data management to leading businesses in the region.
Luke brings to the Wandera team 17 years’ experience in regional enterprise sales and business development in the IT and telecommunications sectors. Luke’s passion for driving new technology adoption across diverse markets makes him well equipped to meet Wandera’s expansion goals in APAC.
With deep roots in enterprise mobility, endpoint security and SaaS, Luke most recently held a role at one of Wandera’s major technology partners, MobileIron, as Regional Sales Director for Southeast Asia. Prior to MobileIron, he had senior positions at Samsung & Blackberry.
“We’re excited to welcome Luke to the team as we grow our presence in the heart of the APAC region. This expansion is a testament to the incredible momentum that Wandera is experiencing on the international stage and a good sign that the enterprise mobile security market is maturing,” said Ivan Foreman VP of Sales APAC at Wandera.
Wandera’s global office footprint which spans London, San Francisco, Brno, Athens and Tel Aviv now also includes Singapore.
Wandera recently secured a $27 million series C funding round which it plans to invest in the growth of the business, expansion into new regions and advancement of its machine learning technology.
