Recently, wheat exports from eurozone have been increased, and thereby attributed to the weak euro. Meanwhile, a sharp increase in EUR against US dollar is noticed on Thursday. The wheat plants during winter are good, therefore, price level is expected to fall as a result of good yield.
"Plants are also in good condition ahead of their dormancy period in other key EU wheat-growing countries, meaning that there is nothing at present to suggest that the EU wheat crop will not be very high again in 2016", says Commerzbank.
