“Dragon Ball Super” season 2 is anticipated as it definitely became a favorite among anime fans. And as the first season ended, the wait for the second installment immediately began, but it seems to be taking a while for Toei Animation Studio to confirm if new episodes are coming or not.
Season 2 renewal update
In other words, the renewal for “Dragon Ball Super” season 2 has not been announced yet, but there are reports that say it is in the works already. According to Newsweek, the pre-production of the next set of episodes has already started in September 2018, and it was early because the production team wants to prevent encountering the issues that they had while producing the first season.
It was added that the lead illustrator who also drew the characters for the “Dragon Ball Super: Broly” movie, will be the same person who was assigned for the same task for “Dragon Ball Super” season 2. But then again, new info surfaced, and it stated that Toei Animation refuted the reports that new episodes are in production.
The studio’s media representative, David Syatt, allegedly said that they are not yet working on “Dragon Ball Super” season 2. With this statement, the question remained whether they will renew the animation or not.
Fans believe it will be back on air
Despite this, many fans think that “Dragon Ball Super” season 2 will still be back. This is because it has huge followers around the world, so they have no doubt that its producers will not miss the opportunity. With this kind of popularity, they are pretty sure that it will return soon.
