Diginomics to release Rootstock Programming Course for blockchain developers

Diginomics, a leading technology media organization dedicated to sharing news and views on the emerging digital economy, has announced the release of the Rootstock Programming Course for digital money professionals and smart contract developers.

The course is designed in a way to allow the students to gain deep knowledge of the Rootstock network and familiarize themselves with the novelties of what Rootstock introduces. According to the course website, the lessons will focus on developing a contract on the Rootstock network, programming smart contracts with Rootstock solidity language, the operation of merged mining and the 2-way peg, inter blockchain asset transfers and ‘Rootcoin’, among others.

The enrolled students will have access to course resources anywhere, anytime, and for as long as Rootstock technology remains relevant. The course lessons are delivered as video presentations and programming tutorials and will have dedicated discussion channel where students can share questions and get support. There will be timed examination of core concepts at regular intervals throughout the course. The students will be given certified accreditation of completion for earning passing grade on the final examination (70%). This accreditation is embedded on bitcoin blockchain where it serves as the proof of expertise.

"Rootstock is an exciting technology because it inherits many of the benefits of the original bitcoin blockchain by building on top of it via cryptographic peg. This way of implementing a scripting language on top of the bitcoin network could be the beginning of a flood of new applications enabled by blockchain technology. We’re very excited to offer the first programming course on Rootstock technology,” Travis Patron, the leading course instructor and noted author stated in a release.

Upon completion, the students will have an opportunity to engage with bitcoin & blockchain industry firms who are actively hiring professionals in this industry. There will be immediate access to all current and future course materials for as long as Rootstock technology remains relevant.

Last year, Diginomics released Ethereum Programming Course enabling students to gain a deep understanding of the Ethereum network and teaching them to program smart contracts in the shortest period of time.
