MENLO PARK, Calif., March 07, 2017 -- Dermira, Inc. (NASDAQ:DERM), a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to bringing biotech ingenuity to medical dermatology by delivering differentiated, new therapies to the millions of patients living with chronic skin conditions, today announced that it has closed its previously announced public offering of 5,750,000 shares of its common stock, including 750,000 shares sold upon full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares of common stock, at a price to the public of $33.70 per share. All of the shares were sold by Dermira. The aggregate gross proceeds to Dermira from the offering, before deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and offering expenses, were approximately $193.8 million.
Leerink Partners LLC, Evercore Group L.L.C. and Guggenheim Securities, LLC acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Needham & Company, LLC acted as co-manager.
