Forager Project, the Danone-backed plant-based food company, is coming up with a cashew milk-based line of dairy-free ice creams free from lactose, soy, and gluten.
Launching in the US, it would be available in flavors of vanilla bean, bittersweet chocolate, cookies & cream, salted caramel, and mint chip.
According to Forager Project co-founder and CEO, Stephen Williamson, their ingredient of organic cashews allowed them to create dairy-free ice creams that are full of flavor and taste, and free of pesticides, chemicals, and GMOs.
Cashew milk is made from whole cashews and water and has a creamy, rich consistency
Forager Project’s new ice cream line will be priced at $6.99 and available at retailers across the US this spring.
Forager Project also has a range of dairy-free cheeses, made of its probiotic cashew milk yogurt.
