The upcoming UK industial production data is not expected to alter the likelihood that the BOE's MPC will keep policy rates unchanged on 14
January 2016. Analysts expect November industrial production to remain flat and manufacturing output to grow at 0.1% m/m.
According to a survey, the British manufacturing sector is expected to have contributed only moderately to the total GDP in Q4 2015. Moreover, the survey indicates that there are signs of rebound in the euro area's outlook, while recent drop in pound is yet to show the impact on country's exports.
Today, several important cenral banks officials are scheduled to speak.
At 10:30GMT, ECB Cxecutive Board Member and Chief Economist Praet, and Fed Vice Chair Fischer will make an appearance. At 14:15GMT, Bank of England Governor Mark Carney will speak at a farewell conference for Bank of France's former Governor Noyer in Paris. Later, at 19:00GMT and 20:15GMT, ECB Executive Board Member Lautenschlaegar and Richmond Fed Lacker will give a speech respectively
