SAN MATEO, Calif., May 18, 2017 -- Coupa Software (NASDAQ:COUP), a leader in cloud-based spend management, today announced an early access program for Risk Aware, a new application that uses Coupa community intelligence combined with unified spend transactions to help customers reduce their supply chain risk through actionable, data-informed insights.
Coupa Risk Aware can bridge the siloed risk data and spend transactions created by disparate systems. The application gives visibility to supplier risk indicators across the platform so users are aware of risk levels while they are sourcing, working with contracts, and creating or reviewing purchase orders. Real-time spend dashboards and alerts issued when risk conditions change make programs easier to implement and manage.
“Risk Aware can end the divide between supplier risk and spend transactions,” said Raja Hammoud, vice president of product marketing and management at Coupa. “The instant visibility of risk coupled with the ability to take immediate action will streamline business processes.”
Coupa Risk Aware is available in an early access program where a limited set of customers can start using it in production now, and provide feedback to Coupa before the general availability release. With the early access program, Coupa takes the next step in transforming spend management risk programs.
Born in the cloud, Coupa delivers a modern spend-management platform that accelerates business by unifying processes across all the ways employees spend money. These processes cover travel and expense management, procurement, invoicing and related source-to-settle areas. Using the Coupa Open Business Network, the platform has connected more than 3 million suppliers and delivers a powerful solution for businesses committed to controlling their spend.
