Tech Tank at Automation Nation 2018 is open to ConnectWise partners, prospective partners, vendors and professional or citizen developers who want to create integrations for ConnectWise Manage business management software, ConnectWise Automate remote monitoring and management software or ConnectWise Control remote control and remote access automation software. Proposed integrations must use ConnectWise’s open APIs and SDKs.
Craig Fulton, Chief Product Officer, ConnectWise, said the contest was inspired by the company’s deeply held commitment to innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit.
“We have always encouraged developers to take advantage of our open APIs and create original solutions that benefit and connect the entire ecosystem. This already has resulted in more than 200 platform integrations,” he said. “Now Tech Tank takes this commitment to an open ecosystem one step further by providing innovative thinkers with the financial support they need to transform their ideas into working integrations that will benefit the entire ConnectWise community.”
Entries will be accepted through April 30. The proofs of concept will be evaluated on their innovation, business potential, user experience, and best use of ConnectWise APIs and SDKs. Scoring will be a combination of ConnectWise partner votes that are cast at Automation Nation 2018 and scores from a team of ConnectWise judges.
The winning entry, which will be announced during the Automation Nation keynote on June 19, will receive up to $100,000 to put toward moving from proof of concept to a working integration. Second place will receive up to $50,000 and third place will receive up to $25,000.
Tech Tank at Automation Nation 2018 is free to enter. The entry form and a full list of contest rules is available online on the ConnectWise website.
