OAKLAND, Calif., March 10, 2017 -- Community Bank of the Bay (CBYAA), a San Francisco Bay Area commercial bank with full service offices in Oakland and Danville, and two business offices in the Silicon Valley, announced today the completion of a $12 million private placement to institutions and accredited investors of its common stock at $5.25 per share. After the payment of placement agent fees and other expenses, the transaction will result in approximately $11.5 million of net proceeds to the Bank.
The Bank expects to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes.

MJC Partners, LLC served as the sole placement agent for the private placement.
