CoinAgenda and third annual Bitcoin Global Conference come to Las Vegas

BitAngels, the leading network of bitcoin and blockchain investors, will present its third annual Bitcoin Global Conference, which will showcase 20 of the top upcoming companies and foundations in the digital asset and blockchain sectors, and CoinAgenda, the premier conference for technology and business investors looking to break into the exciting new opportunities afforded by cryptocurrencies, mining and blockchain startup companies.

The co-located conferences will be held on Tuesday, October 25, and Wednesday, October 26, at Ballys Las Vegas in the Skyview Ballrooms, with a pre-conference, mini-hackathon and opening cocktail party for both events taking place on Monday, October 24.  There will also be a BitAngels breakfast on Tuesday morning available as a stand-alone event, and an offsite VIP CoinAgenda dinner on Tuesday night at the former Mike Tyson mansion immortalized in “The Hangover” movie, sponsored in part by Equiinet.

CoinAgenda will be aimed at both mainstream investors new to bitcoin and blockchain investments, as well as experienced investors in both digital assets and blockchain companies.  The sessions will include: Why Bitcoin is as Important as the Internet, Bitcoin Trading (Introductory and Advanced), The Road to the $10,000 Bitcoin, Ethereum: Past, Present and Future, Opportunities in Altcoins and Appcoins, Crypto Crowdsales, Bitcoin ATMs and Remittance Opportunities, Mining and Monetization (Introductory and Advanced), Asset Protection and Bitcoin Security (hands-on workshop).

Confirmed speakers include Bill Shihara, CEO of Bittrex; Paul Puey, CEO of Airbitz, Marshall Long, chief gaming officer, eBoost; Kevin Barnes, founder, Blocksafe; Jeremy Gardner, co-founder, Augur; Margaux Avedisian, VP/Blockchain, Transform Group; Jim Blasko, partner, bCommerceLabs; DimitryMachikhin, co-founder, RunCPA; Brian Santos, co-founder, eSpend; Amanda B. Johnson, Dash:Detailed; and leading cryptocurrency traders and analysts, including George Samman, Brad Smith, and Tone Vays. More speakers, including keynotes, will be announced shortly.

BitAngels Global Conference will take place in an adjacent ballroom, featuring keynotes and panels on building and financing companies and foundations to build digital assets and related products, with sessions of interest to both companies and investors.  This conference will also present 20 startups (from pre-launch to ramp-up phase) in the bitcoin, blockchain and “appcoin” areas.  At least five companies with active or pending crowdsales will make presentations at the conference, including eBoost, Flash Coin, and Velocity.  There will also be an “Appcoin Alley” with ongoing demos by alternative cryptocurrencies.

Twenty companies or foundations will be chosen to present on-stage in a joint presentation to BitAngels and CoinAgenda attendees and will be granted complimentary admission for two team members to the BitAngels conference and discounted admission to CoinAgenda, if desired. Indian startup Zebpay won the last CoinAgenda contest that attracted 50 entries from around the world. Runners-up will be afforded the opportunity to give discounted sponsored presentations, and all presenters will be eligible for all awards.

This year, there will be six awards: best seed-stage startup, best developed startup, best blockchain startup, best pre-launch cryptocurrency, best post-launch cryptocurrency, and best of show.  The judges will be leading VCs and angels from the world of cryptocurrency investing.
