ANDOVER, Mass., April 18, 2018 -- Casa Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CASA), a leading provider of converged broadband infrastructure technology solutions for mobile, cable and fixed networks, today announced that it has appointed Daniel S. Mead, former President and CEO of Verizon Wireless and Joseph S. Tibbetts, Jr., most recently interim CFO of Acquia Corporation, to its board of directors.

Mead served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Verizon Wireless until his retirement in 2015, following a 37-year career as an industry executive. Mead held several senior positions in Verizon’s parent company, including President and CEO of its FiOS and wireline operations nationwide. He also served as a member of the Verizon Foundation Board as well as the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of CTIA, the wireless industry’s national trade organization. Currently, Mead serves on the board of directors for Terrestar and Syniverse.
Tibbetts was most recently the interim Chief Financial Officer of Acquia Corporation, a provider of cloud-based, digital experience management solutions. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Publicis.Sapient unit of Publicis Group SA. He also served as Senior Vice President and Global Chief Financial Officer for Sapient and was formerly a partner with Price Waterhouse LLP. Tibbetts serves on the board of directors for Vivint Solar, Inc. and other private companies.
