PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 28, 2018 -- Carpenter Technology Corporation (NYSE:CRS) announced today that it is implementing a new surcharge due to the continued rise in Graphite electrode costs, beginning with deliveries on March 1, 2018. The new surcharge will be within a range of $.05 - $.07 per pound for all ARC-melted alloy grades. The surcharge will be included as part of the monthly raw material pricing.
