SAN DIEGO, March 06, 2018 -- GreatCall, the leader in connected health for active aging, wants to help those who spend their time helping others – the charitable organizations that make life better, whether it’s arts, animal welfare, the environment, health, or education – by offering five $1,000 donations to organizations that matter most to our communities. The contest encourages community members to nominate their favorite local charity for the chance to win an $1,000 donation sponsored by GreatCall. Participants just need to explain why the organization is important to them, why they volunteer their time, and why they are worthy of receiving the donation. Organizations with the highest number of votes per category will be selected as winners.
Nominations are being accepted at www.greatcalldoesgood.com now through April 13, 2018 in the following categories: animal rights and conservation, arts, culture and humanities, education and community development, health, and human and international development and relief. Photo submissions are encouraged with the nominations. From April 14 – 27, people can vote for their favorite nominee.
“GreatCall is passionate about connecting people to what’s important to them,” said David Inns, CEO, GreatCall. “Volunteering is a wonderful way to give back to the community and a way to change lives. We encourage our customers to live their most active life, and this program underscores our commitment to that mission.”
