In the previous episode, it was revealed that Mitsuki was being taken to the Earth country. With the Orochimaru clone’s current predicament, there is a concern that this could lead to another war between two nations. The show has been teasing major conflict that could lead to Boruto finally growing into his own and this could be the spark. “Boruto” Episode 78 might hold the answer.
As Omnitos notes, Mitsuki is currently in the hands of ninjas from the Hidden Stone village, who includes Kokuyo and Sekiei. They are currently heading towards their village, with Boruto and his friends following behind after their destination was revealed by the White Snake Sage. Whatever is still missing from the story could also be shown in “Boruto” Episode 78.
In “Boruto” Episode 78, the Konoha ninjas will also be going their separate ways. One half will be going after Mitsuki and the other going back to the village to report on what is happening. This will be necessary since a move into the Earth Country might be the trigger to another ninja world conflict after decades of peace.
In the previous episode, the show did a great job of providing Boruto with the opportunity to grow. Being able to summon Garaga now makes things quite interesting for the team. Though he said that the arrangement was only temporary, it’s more than likely that he is going to be a temporary summon. The end results could be revealed in “Boruto” Episode 78.
With “Boruto” Episode 78 potentially signaling the end of the Mitsuki arc, answers to remaining questions might finally come to light. If not this one, then it could be the next episode, but it is at least ending soon. Fans can watch how things unfold on Oct. 21 via licensed platforms like Crunchyroll, OtakuKart reports.
