Blockchain-based firm Fluent welcomes trade finance experts on advisory board

Fluent, a financial operating network built on blockchain technology, has announced that it has added two leading trade finance experts to its advisory board.

According to the official release by the company on Medium, Fluent has extended its advisory board with the addition of Dan Juliano, ex-Senior Vice President of Business Development and Co-founder of PrimeRevenue, and Anthony Brown, Founder of the Trade Advisory.

“We are excited to bring two distinguished thought leaders in the trade finance industry on our team. The scope and depth of knowledge that these two gentlemen bring to the table is hard to rival, and we look forward to using their experience and extensive network to cement Fluent as the leading blockchain solution for trade finance,” Lamar Wilson, CEO of Fluent said.

The company will utilize Dan Juliano’s 25 years of experience working in enterprise software and in-depth knowledge of the trade finance. Dan will help in refining go-to-market and sales strategies and will bring his network of bank and non-bank funding institutions to the Fluent marketplace.

“Blockchain technology is becoming a key requirement for platform providers offering Trade Finance solutions. I believe Fluent is uniquely positioned to offer these blockchain technology capabilities, and I’m excited to use my knowledge and experience co-founding a large trade finance company to assist them in bringing these innovative solutions to market,” Dan Juliano said.

Anthony Brown, having more than 30 years of experience as an import-export trader, trade financier, and risk and supply chain specialist; is a highly regarded thought leader in the trade finance industry. He will bring Fluent, his expertise of trade finance knowledge to a team of technologists, blockchain architects, and finance professionals. He will be supporting sales efforts and connect Fluent with industry leading financial institutions.

Dan and Anthony will be joining the board that consists of Atul Kamra, Managing Director of SixThirty, former president of First Clearing, and a partner at Booz and other highly regarded experts. The company recently announced that it is hiring blockchain developers to join its team.
