Blockchain Intelligence Group rolls out QLUE version codename Deep Cove

Blockchain Intelligence Group (BIG), a Canada-based developer of blockchain technology solutions, has announced the launch of QLUE version codename Deep Cove.

The company said that the objective behind developing the QLUE platform is to aid the fight against financial crimes involving bitcoin. It is a cutting-edge tool for law enforcement professional and agencies across the world, it added.

According to the official release, QLUE incorporates various techniques and advanced search algorithms to detect suspicious activity within Bitcoin transactions, use of “Dark Web” tools such as Tor, and other methods commonly employed by criminals to cover illegal activity.

“As a pro-Bitcoin company, our mandate is to help eliminate abuse of the Bitcoin network. At this time I would like to thank our development team for their hard efforts and work bringing this version to fruition”, President, Shone Anstey said.

In addition, Blockchain Intelligence Group also announced the appointment of Michaek Perklin to its board of advisors. Perklin is Chief Information Security Officer at ShapeShift, a digital asset exchange operating out of Switzerland. The company said that Perklin has been invited to speak internationally on topics including digital forensics, information security, and Bitcoin security.

“We would like to welcome Michael Perklin to our advisory board, and we thank Michael for his advice and feedback during this current product development phase”, Anstey added.

Last month, the company announced that it has been accepted as a member of the Blockchain Alliance – a coalition of over 30 companies from the blockchain industry and more than 30 law enforcement and regulatory agencies around the world.
