'Black Clover' episode 115: Devil’s scary animation is revealed in a spoiler-filled official preview

The anime adaptation of "Black Clover" is ending 2019 with a major turn of events. The preview for “Black Clover” episode 115 has officially confirmed that this is the moment when anime-only fans get to the bottom of the centuries-long rivalry between humans and elves.

After it was confirmed that “Black Clover” episode 115 was going to be titled "Mastermind," manga fans instantly knew that this installment is will be a big one. The manga chapter with the same title revolved around the completion of Devil's plan for his incarnation and the introduction of the ultimate villain.

Anime-only fans now have an idea of how scary the Devil is going to be just by watching the few seconds official preview of “Black Clover” episode 115. Some fans were even complaining that the teaser contained too many spoilers.

It might have been disappointing to some that the “Black Clover” episode 115 preview completely showed Devil's scary face as his mere appearance would have been an epic surprise. But it should be noted that the episode would still contain more shocking details such as how the Devil manipulated the humans and Patolli to lead the elves' revenge that led them to the Shadow Palace.

The appearance of Devil in “Black Clover” episode 115 will establish a much greater fight that will unite the elves and the humans and will be tackled in the upcoming episodes next year. Fans will also witness Yuno and Asta teaming up against the Devil, but the latter is simply too powerful for the duo.

The series will maintain its regular schedule for “Black Clover” episode 115. This means "Mastermind" will air on Tuesday (Christmas Eve), Dec. 24.

However, there will be a one-week hiatus for the rest of the holidays opening the possibility for “Black Clover” episode 115 to end in a huge cliffhanger after introducing the Devil. The next episode of "Black Clover" will be released next year on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
