Bittrex, a leading digital currency exchange, has announced that it now hosts more than 200 coins, with the addition of 22 new coins in the second half of 2016.

According to the official announcement, the coins added to Bittrex in Q3 and Q4 of 2016 (starting with the most recent) are: MegaFlash, Zclassic, Zcash, Antshares, ZCoin, Ardor, Augur, Jewel, SingularDTV, Xaurum, Silk, eBoost, Verium, TRIG Token, Syndicate, Unbreakable Coin, Stratis, Ethereum Classic, Uniqredit, Breakout Stake, SteemDollars, and LBRY Credits.

“We see ourselves as blockchain incubators.  By launching a variety of coins on Bittrex, we allow users to get exposure to multiple blockchain technologies and business models on a single exchange,” said Bill Shihara, CEO and Co-Founder of Bittrex. “We’ve had a successful year of adding both established and up-and-coming coins to Bittrex, and look forward to continuing to facilitate secure, seamless cryptocurrency trading and adoption in 2017 and beyond.”

Ethereum Classic was added in July, while Augur was added in October. Both of these debuted as top-ten coins and have remained at the top of the trading charts since their entry.

Bittrex said that it is committed to researching and vetting each coin prior to adding it to its platform, ensuring users are presented with quality options for cryptocurrency trading. It conducts compliance audits on all new coin launches, ensuring that users have the information they need to make informed decisions, it said.

The company said that it supports both new and established cryptocurrencies, providing users with an ever-growing selection of investing and trading opportunities.
