To deliver the best possible game for players' expectations, the studio has brought in an experienced team who previously worked on the “Top Spin” license.
Pierre André, Game Designer on Tennis World Tour and former Producer on “Top Spin 4”, said: "For years we've wanted to create a new tennis game, a spiritual successor to ‘Top Spin 4’. Improvements in technology and gameplay now mean that we can create the ultra-realistic simulation that we've always dreamed of."
Benoît Clerc, Director of Video Games at Bigben, said: “Our aim is to give all tennis fans a game that is finally worthy of their enthusiasm. The level of quality, wealth of content and game mechanics planned for Tennis World Tour will ensure that it will be one of the best sport simulations available."
Tennis World Tour will let players experience the career of a professional with more than 30 playable tennis stars including Roger Federer, Gaël Monfils, Angelique Kerber and Garbiñe Muguruza. The game will provide a faithful tennis simulation with demanding gameplay during rallies, a wide range of playing styles and a preparation stage where strategic decisions will influence the course of each match.
More information about the game will be provided during Gamescom 2017 from 22 August 2017.
