Big Data & Analytics for Banking Summit to explore blockchain and cryptocurrencies

The Big Data & Analytics for Banking Summit hosted by Innovation Enterprise will take place at Times Square on December 7 & 8 in New York that will explore key areas of blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

The summit will focus on why blockchain is set to have the greatest impact on banking on the near future and will unite with more than 150 data professionals to explore cryptocurrencies, machine learning, and credit risk modeling, among others.

“With a nascent technology like Blockchain, early adopters have a massive advantage. We created this summit in order to help attendees understand how new technologies like blockchain and data analytics will change the industry, to help them maintain their positions as market leaders,” Meg Rimmer, the curator of the summit, said in a release.

The event will see industry leaders including Liana Guzman, VP of Marketing & Communications at Blockchain; Anand Balasubramanian, VP of Data Management & Visualization at Goldman Sachs; among others. They will be joined by over 20 speakers, who will lead discussions on the latest developments in cryptocurrency, data analytics, and fintech. Decision-makers from leading financial institutions like Citi, PNC Bank, and AIG, will also be present.

Liana’s address will look to advance understanding around how banks can adopt blockchain and other disruptive technologies to gain a competitive edge. Balasubramanian will give a framework that combines design thinking and data visualization. This framework will help in quickly conducting exploratory analysis, gather insights from the data, and build products that reduce time to market and add business value.

The event tickets are open until December 2, 2016, and the seats are limited.
