“Better Call Saul” season 5 is finally coming soon after the cast revealed that they already wrapped up filming earlier this month. With the show entering its post-production phase, its premiere in early 2020 is confirmed.

It has been more than a year since the fourth season was shown so it is understandable why the viewers just can’t wait any longer for the continuation of the “Breaking Bad” spinoff drama. Fans viewed the season 4 finale in October 2018 and the return is anticipated because Jimmy McGill is slowly turning to his Saul Goodman and this is quite an interesting turn of events even if the viewers know that he will soon be a full-blown bad person.

The end of the drama shoot announced

AMC did not make the announcement but the cast did. Almost everyone including lead star Bob Odenkirk took to social media to let their fans know that they just completed the filming for “Better Call Saul” season 5. The cast shared their excitement to their viewers since it will not be long when they'll finally see them back on TV.

Also, the cast could not wait to show their fans what they had prepared and almost everyone stated that this is their best episodes yet. They also said that this is “Better Call Saul” season 5 is the most challenging but rewarding installment so it should not be missed.

“Wrap party of BCS Season 5 last night,” Odenkirk wrote on Twitter on Sept. 9. “A blast with the best cast ever. Great actors around me, and even better - Great People! Love ‘em.”

The end of “Better Call Saul?”

Meanwhile, it was said that “Better Call Saul” season 5 is also the penultimate chapter so there is more reason for the viewers to watch it. Giancarlo Esposito who plays Gus Fring in the drama previously mentioned about the endgame of the show by saying that they are fast approaching the endgame as the fifth installment is set to arrive.

"It's tricky with co-creator Vince Gilligan," Esposito told Collider. "If you look at the Breaking Bad model, he said five years, five seasons, but it was really five and six with the split final season. There will be six seasons and it seems like that's the way, the comfortable way, to end this show."

“Better Call Saul” season 5 is set to air in 2020 with no specific date yet.
