“Bachelor In Paradise” Contestant Corinne Olympios Says She Is A “Victim,” Was In Blackout State During Alleged “Sexual Misconduct” Controversy On Set

The other half involved in the alleged sexual encounter that shut down the production of the upcoming season of “Bachelor In Paradise” is now sharing her side of the story.

Corinne Olympios, who first gained notoriety when she became the de-facto villain in the recently concluded, Nick Viall-starred “The Bachelor,” issued a statement on Wednesday regarding the alleged “sexual misconduct” complaint filed by a producer of the show, Syracuse.com reported. Allegedly, Olympios got drunk and performed sexual acts with fellow contestant DeMario Jackson in a Mexico resort, all while the cameras were rolling.

She said, "I am a victim and have spent the last week trying to make sense of what happened on June 4. Although I have little memory of that night, something bad obviously took place, which I understand is why production on the show has now been suspended and a producer on the show has filed a complaint against the production. As a woman, this is my worst nightmare and it has now become my reality."

Supposedly, Olympios was drunk the entire day before and during the incident, TMZ said. The reality star said she was in a blackout state, and although she didn’t blame Jackson about the incident, she wouldn’t done what she did considering the fact that she has a boyfriend. Olympios, who has since lawyered up, was reportedly advised by fellow castmates that they did advise the crew she was in no state to engage in sexual relations with Jackson, and that she blames the producers for not doing anything.
