“Attack on Titan” Chapter 116 will be an interesting release to follow since it will reveal the fate of Levi and how extensive his injury is. At the moment, the captain is in serious trouble as he’s surrounded by enemy soldiers, Comicbook reported.

Fortunately, Hanji was the first to get to him and announced that he’s dead. Floch, on the other hand, wasn’t convinced and said that they should just put a bullet in his head just to be sure. Shortly after, a welcome diversion presented itself when Zeke appeared – fully healed and all. Hanji took this opportunity to dive in the river and provide some distance between them and Floch’s unit. In “Attack on Titan” Chapter 116, the chase for Hanji and Levi will begin.

And while the community is asking how the two will escape their predicament, another question has surfaced: how will Levi recover from his wounds? The illustration in the previous chapter showed Levi has at least lost one eye and possibly several fingers. Will “Attack on Titan” Chapter 116 feature a regeneration path for the strongest soldier in the world?

That remains to be seen. However, the possibility is certainly there given that Levi has the DNA to pull off such a twist. The problem here is that if Isayama goes this route, it could hurt Levi as a character in the future. Levi is already powerful enough as it is. Giving him titan-like regeneration – even if it’s on a smaller scale – would significantly diminish any fears that fans would have should the character be put in another precarious situation. Meanwhile, Pieck’s fate has also been left hanging in the air and it would be interesting to see what her intention is in “Attack on Titan” Chapter 116.

But one thing is for sure, however. Pieck is there to talk, plain and simple. Foolish though her decision is, Pieck knows that she cannot kill Eren with a gun. She also knows Eren wouldn’t transform into a Titan just because a firearm has been pointed at his face. This leaves a dialogue exchange as the only option. It goes without saying that Pieck is way over her head right now, especially since Eren has grown to be quite manipulative as evidenced by his conversation with Zeke. As for the release date of “Attack on Titan” Chapter 116, it’s been scheduled to drop on April 9.
