Asian markets start a new week on the positive note, gold stabilises above $1,330

All the major Asian indices are trading on a higher note on Monday after better than expected U.S. NFP job data. On the other side, USD appreciated against major peers. Gold remains well supported above $1,330 mark and silver was trading around $19.67 levels.

Japan’s Nikkei 225 was trading 2.09 percent higher at 16,594.42 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.40 percent higher at 2,025.28 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.1 pct at 2,972.62 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,199.57 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 1.20 percent higher at 22,411.15 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.78 percent higher at 5,539.10 points.
