Asian markets start a new week on a flat note, gold stable at $1,265 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Monday. Gold was trading around $1,266 mark while silver was trading around $17.32 mark.

Chinese and Taiwan banks will be closed in observance of the Dragon Boat Festival.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.15 pct higher at 19,716.50 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.15 percent higher at 25,672.20 points.

Australia’s S&P ASX200 was trading 0.51 percent lower at 5,722 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.43 pct higher at 2,365.55 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.02 percent lower at 9,593.55 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.27 percent higher at 30,944.64 points.
