Asian markets notably higher, gold up at $1,224 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Wednesday. Gold was trading at $1,222 mark while silver was trading around $16.15 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.28 pct higher at 19,898.50 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 1.01 percent higher at 25,136 points.

Australia’s S&P ASX200 was trading 0.58 percent lower at 5,873 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,078.17 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,350.65 points.

Taiwan’s market was trading 0.36 percent higher at 9,968.93 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.78 percent higher at 9,389.55 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.86 percent higher at 30,190.18 points.
