Asian markets mixed, gold stabilizes above $1,200 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Tuesday. Gold was trading around $1,206 mark while silver was trading around $16.81 marks.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading around 0.70 percent lower at 18,965 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.44 percent higher at 22,815 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.5 pct at 3,087.03 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.4 pct at 3,305.60 points.

Taiwan stocks open up 0.1 pct at 9,301.96 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.55 percen higher at 2,075 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.20 percent higher at 8,428.70 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.19 percent higher at 27,340 points.
