Asian markets mixed, gold stabilizes above $1,250

Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Tuesday. Gold was trading around $1,258 and silver was trading around $17.63 marks.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.14 percent lower at 2,033.36 points.

Tokyo's Nikkei share average opens up 0.45 pct at 16,936.31.

Shanghai composite index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,051.62 points and China's csi300 index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,296.87 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 1.35 percent lower at 23,535.26 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.04 percent higher at 5,477.10 points.

Taiwan stocks open up 0.5 pct at 9,311.79 points.
