Asian markets mixed, gold stabilises around $1,350

Asian markets are trading on a mix note at the start of a new week. Japanese markets are trading on a higher side but Chinese markets are trading on a lower note.

Gold and silver are slightly higher in early hours of Asia. Gold was trading around $1,350 and silver was trading around $20.60 marks.  

Japan’s Nikkei 225 was trading 0.23 percent lower at 16,606 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.66 percent higher at 2,029.21 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.3 pct at 2,971.95 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.2 pct at 3,196.43 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 1.31 percent higher at 22,178.15 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.60 percent higher at 5,595 points.
