Major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Thursday. On the other side, gold fails to break immediate resistance at $1,315 and currently hovers around $1,309 marks. In addition, silver remains well supported below $18.85 marks and trading around $18.60 levels.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 was trading 0.27 percent higher at 16,923.42 points.
South Korea’s Kospi was trading around 0.33 percent lower at 2,027.11 points.
Shanghai composite index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,083.96 points and China's CSI300 index to open flat at 3,326.74 points.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 0.52 percent higher at 23,097.24 points.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.12 percent lower at 5,426.10 points.
