Asian markets mixed, gold rises 1.1 pct to $1,264

Asian indices start a new week on the mixed note after U.S. released NFP job data with negative numbers. NFP for the September came at 156K m/m vs 167K m/m previous release. U.S. gold futures rise 1.1 pct to $1,265.10/oz at 0106 GMT. Silver was trading around $17.62 marks.

Japanese banks will be closed in observance of Health-Sports Day.

Canadian banks will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving Day.

US banks will be closed in observance of Columbus Day.

Hong Kong stock markets will be closed in observance of Chung Yeung day.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.10 percent lower at 2,051.36 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.16 percent higher at 5,476.10 points.

Thailand's stock market falls 3.2 pct on opening.

Shanghai composite index to open up 0.5 pct at 3,020.46 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.4 pct at 3,265.36 points.
