Asian markets mixed, gold hits fresh 2-month high at $1,218

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Wednesday. On the other side gold hits fresh 2-month high at $1,218 and silver was trading around $17.15 marks.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading around 0.08 percent lower at 18,803 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 1.30 percent higher at 23,138 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,104.77 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,323.34 points.

Taiwan stocks open down 0.1 pct at 9,344.74 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.11 percen lower at 2,069 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.60 percent higher at 8,448.70 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.38 percent higher at 27,328 points.
