Asian markets mixed, Nikkei down over 1 percent, gold back above $1,190

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Thursday. On the other side, gold was trading around $1,197 mark while silver was trading around $16.80 marks.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading around 1.30 percent lower at 19,113 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.19 percent lower at 22,891 points.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,133.60 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,332.69 points.

Taiwan stocks open up 0.1 pct at 9,356.12 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.14 percen higher at 2,078 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.24 percent higher at 8,401.70 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.12 percent higher at 27,171 points.
