Asian markets mixed, Hang seng up over 1 percent, gold hits fresh 4-week high at $1,174

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Thursday. Gold hits fresh 4-week high at $1174 mark while silver was trading around $16.60 mark, hits fresh 3-week high.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.41 percent lower at 19,518 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 1.25 percent higher at 22,411 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,157.91 points and China's CSI300 index to open flat at 3,368.34 points.

Taiwan stocks open down 0.1 pct at 9,282.56 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.13 percen lower at 2,043 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.60 percent higher at 8,240.70 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.48 percent higher at 26,755 points.
